| | Hi,
While in Myrtle Beach, try to find time to play Island Green, introduce
yourself to the pro(Dick Roberge) and tell him you work in the same
    company I do.
You will enjoy the courses challenge, Dick is a great guy and we are
members there. All three things could make for a cheap and challenging
day at Island Green. There are three nines there and each offers fine
    challenge.
    Enjoy.

| | Tom,
I'll get back to you with the list of courses I am playing. They
include The Heritage, Heather Glen, The Witch and Ocean Harbor (my list is
at home). Thanks for the tip on Island Green. Where is it in Myrtle
Beach (north or south). I'll try to find the time to play it while I'm
there, maybe stay an extra day.

| | Hi again,
It is on the South end, near the nearer Prestwick and Blackmoor
    courses.

Island Green has been there for over ten years and always managed by
the same group with Dick, a former Eastern Hockey league all star, as
    the pro.

The Holly, Tall Oaks and Dogwood nines are very sporty. Playing there
will clearly sharpen your irons into greens and tee placement game
before you take on any of the excellent courses you are booked on.

    Enjoy!!!!!

| | Have you thought about pulling off to Pinehurst. It's off 95 a ways but
worth a day. It's about 5 hours outside of DC.

| | I have the perfect stop for you. There is a course close to
Fayetteville off I-95. The course is called Keith Hills and is as nice
as any you will play in M.B. I was just there two weeks ago and it is
lovely. The rough is all dormant bermuda and the greens are VERY true.
Take the exit for Campbell University off I-95. The course is about 12
miles from I-95. Follow the signs to Campbell U. The phone number at
the course is (919) 893-4111 X:321. The pro shop number is 893-5051.
The course is actually in Buies Creek, N.C. The course is a Dan Maples
design and plays 6660 from the blues. Par is 72. The course
rating/slope is 71.6/123 from the blues. DON'T MISS THIS PLACE. I am
not a fan of Island Green and highly recommend Keith Hills over Island
Green. This is a real course.

| | Isn't there a rule about who can look for a lost ball? Isn't it
the members of you're foursome and no one else? How would this
apply to the people looking for Pate's ball? Were they all officials?

Any one can look for a lost ball. Some of the searchers have more
responsibilities than others. For example if the player or caddy move
	the ball it's a penalty.
