I am heading for Washington state(a place called puyullup it is
near tacoma).Can anyone recomend a couple of good courses in this
area and about what they will run me.

There are lots of courses up there for the newly initiated. From
puyallup, the closest will probably be High Cedars or Enumclaw
Municipal. In Tacoma, there are probably six good courses including
Allenmore, North Shore, Meadowpark, Brookdale, and Spanaway. You can
go to Olympia and play Tumwater Valley or Port orchard and play
Mccormick Woods. Prices vary from about 12 to 40 bucks.

I'd recommend looking up Port Ludlow. I don't recall the town, but
it's across the sound from Seattle and receives alot of press from golf
magazines. I played there a couple years ago in the off season and
it is well worth the trip.
