be less than an hour away from Hillsboro.

    	Michelle,

There is a golf course in Hillsborough N.H. I've seen the
entrance about a 1/4 mile west of the center of town on Rt.
    	9 ?.

As far as what kind of course it is, I can't say. if you
want me to dig, I can find out. My wife usually makes a
trip to Hillsborough twice a week.

I played Angus Lea a couple years ago... not overly challenging,
but it had its good points. I couldn't try, off the top of my head,
to recap the features of the course.

Greens fees, if I remember right, were pretty low.

| 549.5 | I play Angus Lea | RITA::HYDE | Have Rdb Manuals -- Will Travel | Fri Mar 17 1989 10:32 | 18 |
| | Angus Lea is my primary golf course. That's because I live in Weare,
NH.
Angus Lea is a very short course, 6 par 4's and 3 par 3's. I was told
it's named after the breed of cows who lived there before the pasture
was converted to a golf course. The course is rarely crowded. The
people who own it are incredibly friendly. The golfers are more polite
and more considerate than other courses I play. It's a laid-back golf
course and I enjoy it that way.
I'm not sure when they open. You can call information and get their
number. If they're open when you're there and if I'm around, maybe we
can play a round. Hillsborough also has an excellent pizza place,
Foodee's Pizza. There's no smoking allowed and they have a number of
natural grain crusts, etc.
