Does anyone know of an easy way to measure swingweights ? What I
am most interested in is a comparative measure of the clubs in the
set I have to see if there is any correlation between the easier
clubs to hit and the harder ones, and their swingweights ! The results
may mean that I can guarantee to have a matched set even if i cant
actually say what the swungweight is.
For those interested this is because I have just 'made' a set of
irons from Custom Golf in Austin, Texas. For those of you who have
hesitated because of getting them outside of the US it takes a few
weeks an cost me $27 - and that was air freight !! Anyone know if
its allowed to air freight yourself to the US for a few winter rounds
of golf ?

Since you have the Custom Golf catalogue, buy the Ping swingweighter.
If your going to assemble the clubs you'll need it anyway!
