Hi Golfers!
I'm a beginner at golf and in desperate need of a set of golfclubs.
Luckily, I will have the chance to by clubs in New York
(where the price is less than half of the prices in Sweden...).
Could anyone recommend a well-assorted and not to expensive
golf store in New York???
A help-needing golfhacker

Open the phone book (or yellow pages) when you get here - there
are several good places to buy - everything from custom-made to
'every brand under-the-sun' warehousing. Although I buy in NJ,
where I live, I've heard recommended:
World of Golf 147 East 47 St. (btw. Lexinton & 3rd)
(all (212)- ....) 242-2895, 755-9398, or 921-5678
Golf Master 7 West 44th St (4th FL) (212) 944-1120
Richard Metz Golf Studio 35 E. 50th St (btw Madison & Park Ave)
(212) 759-6940 or 319-0023
NY Golf Center 29 W. 36th St (btw 5th & 6th) 564-2255
also, retail:
Paragon Sporting Goods 867 Broadway at 18th St 255-8036
