We have 2 brand new 8200 with the 440 MHz chip, latest firmware. Twice
now, when we have run the memory test from the console, it corrupts the
eeprom and we have to to a eeprom -b command. BTW, the test never
finishes. Has anyone seen this?

can you post a log file?
What's the command string you have entered?
What version of SRM Console firmware is installed?
There are no outstanding issues with the memory test.

The memory test does often run such that one can only power off/on the
the system. I thought, it was a 'known' bug !
I am going to a 440 Mhz CPU today, where the eeprom is bad. This
happened after a crash, which probably comes from nsr. No memory test
was run.
