The current configuration is as follows ,
1.AlphaServer 8200 Model 5/300
2. OpenVms V7.0
3. 2 ea HSZ40-CX V 27(27)
4. 2 ea KZPAA firmware version (A10) up from (a09)
5. RZ29
6. HSZ40 NOT ON REDUNDANT MODE
7. JUST upgraded to verision 3.8 of console on 8200
We are getting the following error , disks are going into a mount
verify state and back to normal again . This is occurring intermitently.
Looking at Diagnose we see the following .

Do you mean KZPSA? KZPAA's would not be a supported configuration.

They are KZPSA's , what we do to clear the problem is to power
down the HSZ40 controllers .

1. You should be at V3.0 FW on your HSZ40s
2. The TIMA remedial for V7.0 has a new SYS$PKSDRIVER which fixed
similar (sounding) problems to yours. You should make sure you
have the latest driver provided.
3. How much memory do you have?

Thanks for the reply , we have 2 GIG of memory . THe Pkdriver
in think is the latest . I have asked for the version , will post
it later .
Will get new flash cards for the HSZ40 .
