    Question - Can E2062-DA Rev E02 (pass2 ev5/6) be mixed with E2062-DA
Rev D02(pass1 ev5/6) in the same system.

The reason i ask is we are processing both versions in manufacturing at
    the moment.

    Thanks,

    Gordon

| Gordon,
My understanding is that mixing Pass 1 and Pass 2 EV56s is no
problem as long as the firmware revsion is at 4.8-6 or later AND you
    have the patch for OpenVMS.

If you have a mix of Pass 1 and Pass 2 EV56s in the system, a patch
is required for OpenVMS versions V6.2-1H3 and V7.1 so that VMS will
recognize that the CPUs are compatible. I don't think the VMS patch is
required if the system contains all Pass 1 or all Pass 2 EV56s

    	Digital Unix requires no patches.
