|  | I am in the console group and I just asked around.  This problem has 
been seen from time to time.  The problem is under investigation.  
It is suspected to be a timing related intermittant.  So make several
attempts and potentially it could get past the hang on one of the
attempts at booting.

|  |     Yes, this problem was first reported on a 350MHz CPU module.
    We have not heard of any problems with the 300MHz or 440MHz, 
    until now.    Like Dennis said, this problem is under investigation.

    I have also some 440Mhz CPU ....but this CPU have form factoy 4.1
    (I will try same disk with 440M CPU installed next days)
    ....btw my 300 cpu are rev P09.  I also saw 300M cpu with rev P10.
