| 33.3 | Ted Stevens = Mopar | BTOVT::ROBERGE_M |  | Fri May 10 1991 10:13 | 25 |
| |

    Joe,

I have two sources for you:

Imperial Motors (Junk Yard of older cars)
                   South Caralina
                   PH: (803)-895-3474

Ted Stevens (Mopar cars & parts Junk Yard,66-74)
                   Alabama
PH: (205)-247-1332 (call after 7pm est)

I would suggest using Ted Stevens. I ordered Fenders, Doors, & other
Misselanious stuff, for my 71 Charger R/T, from him a coupple years
back. Ted knew his stuff, had resonable prices, had everything I
needed, and I got it all 2 weeks(frieght) after I placed my order.
In a heart beat, I would order from him again........

                  Hope this helps,

    Looking for a bell crank for a 1969 A-body B-engine Mopar (383 4spd
    Barracuda in particular.)

This is the "torque bar" piece of the clutch linkage that sits between
the bell housing and the frame. It connects the clutch pedal to the
bar back to the fork. I've also heard it referred to as a "Z bar".

| 33.12 | all you want/need/and more !! | TROOA::GILES |  | Wed Sep 15 1993 13:22 | 57 |
| | Have a t/r for a 440 - I know this won't fit a 383 BUT I also have
"everything" else... ALL BRAND NEW !!!

2 - 650 Holley double pumpers (NEW, not factory rebuilts - there is a
    difference!!!)
    2 - holley regulators
    custom bent and polished hardlines
    Earl's aircraft fittings
2 - Earl's pressure gauges (one off each regulator)
Holley t/r carb linkage kit (the good one with heim joints)
2 - Mr. Gasket air filters

Carbs have had little things done like see-through sight plugs and
    teflon bowl screw washers/gaskets.

Tunnel ram has had the centre webbing cut out, all flashing removed and
been sandblasted. Top has been matched to base.

As previosly stated, all is BRAND NEW (still in boxes) never even
    mounted on a block.

Also have some other Big Block Mopar stuff for sale, some new, some used

    i.e.

MP valve springs good to .528 lift
    Chromoly retainers
    MP .557 cam
MP adapter to install RB distributor in B block
MP distributor/oil pump drive (pinned gear & hardened tip)
Brand new timing chain and 3 bolt cam sprocket
**** Pushrods for 383 **** for adjustable rockers - one set for hyd.
lifters, one set for solids (one set is Crane, other is Isky)

    Reason for selling:

Bottom list is stuff I've gotten on trades or included with package
deals or bought with the intention of using but changed plans (i.e.
switched from 383's to 440's, changed cam choice, installed gear drive,
installed milodon oil system, etc., etc., etc.)

Tunnel ram and carbs - when I started this project I intended to do
mostly local blasting on the street - not much concern for driveability
or milage. I've since moved a little off the beaten path and hitting
shows, etc. will require more driveability/milage. I also intend to use
the vehicle more than on Saturday nights. In a nutshell, I want
something more streetable. I'll make up for it with laff-gas if the
    need arises.

If interested, drop me an E-mail - Stan Giles @TRO
    or call DTN 634-6741

I am looking for a set of hood scoops that fit the 1970 - 74 Challenger R/T

the actual hood scoops that bolt to the hood.

| | I've owned two Challenger RTs (a '72 and a '73) and the hood scoops
on both cars were not bolted to the hood but were a part of the hood
design itself. On the Barracudas of that vintage I believe they did
have bolt on scoops that looked similar to the Challengers.

| 33.22 | Heat shield needed. | DNEAST::GENESEO_PAUL |  | Thu Nov 03 1994 07:51 | 11 |
| | This isn't in a musclecar (its in a motorhome), but it is a 440. Did
they make a heat shield between the upper part of the exhaust manifold
and the valve covers? This thing runs so hot that it just cooks the
valve cover gaskets and then they leak oil on the manifold. I've tried
the super duty heavy duty high heat gaskets and they only last a few
hundred miles before the're baked. This is one place a heat shield
would do wonders I'm sure, but I havn't had any luck finding any. If I
don't have any luck here I'm going to try and manufacture some. Any
    suggestions?

    Thanks, Paul
