    Hello,

    A customer wants to use a DS5000 with our TLZ04 (DAT) to read and
    process audio data recorded by external equipment.
    The external equipment can be engineered to use a recording format the
    TLZ04 would be able to read.

    What he needs is an exact specification of the TLZ04 DAT recording
    format. He claims he's seen a document saying we are using a standard
    called DDS.
    If DDS is indeed used, he needs a pointer to the standard
    specification.

    Can someone help ?

    Thanks,

    \Ori

    Try posting this in the Storage Architecture Group notes conference:

    SSAG::ASK_SSAG

    You may not be able to obtain the Spec, but I'm sure the people there
    can answer your TLZ04 questions.

    	This note has been answered in the STKHLM::MAGTAPE conference. Many
    people from tape Engineering read the magtapes conference.
