seq, hard and soft please, with or without system 7 midi DA, and please
how much for a poor French musicman who paid about 22,8% VAT here....
Nota: For plugging R8 and (may be) D5 Roland...
Thanks in advance

There are several Midi sequencing packages available for the Mac.
Vision by Opcode
EZ Vision by Opcode
Perfomer by Mark of the Unicorn
Master Tracks Pro 4 by Passport Designs
Master Tracks Plus by Passport Designs
And the list goes on...
Pricing varies from about $150 to $400 US.
You need to determine what your requirements are, but the general
consensus is to buy a package that you will be able to continue to
use as your work gets more complex.
RE: System 7. It's really too early to say what packages will run on
system 7, but I would not be too concerned about that right now. If
the software is incompatible with Sys 7 (when it finally arrives) the
vendor should issue an updated version.
Re: DA. I don't know of any packages that run as a desk accessory.
Wouldn't be that practical on a Mac. Some do offer DA librarians.
Re: Hardware requirements. You will need a MIDI interface with one in
and one out port and at least one megabyte of memory. That shouldn't be
a problem since the LC has two megabytes standard. A hard disk drive is
a definite plus.

Actually, CuBase is at V1.0 on the Mac, with a V1.5 upgrade supposedly arriving
in March. (I've got CuBase/Mac, and have talked to Steinberg)
