Does anyone have experience programming the Adlib synthesizer card for
IBM compatibles? I bought the card in June, then recently bought the
programmers' manual. The card seems really decent; the sound quality
is great; but the documentation of both the card and the programmers'
manual is lacking to say the least.

I ran across a mention of a BBS that is supposed to have over 700
files for the Adlib & Sound Blaster cards. I tried to dial in
yesterday but got a busy signal. So, the following is strictly
gossip from Prodigy (what a waste...):
VGER Control BBS - (714) 371-4789 USR Courier HST,
1200-38.4v.42bis A guy named Bob Altenburger posted the notice
       on Prodigy.

| This board is in california. There is no cost except the long distance phone charges. Can anyone in the 714 area logon and download as much of the adlib and sound blaster files as possible. The couple of songs I downloaded ( adlib .rols ) play great. thanks bob | |||||
