    After reading over the last few months all you commusic afficianados
    talking to one another, an idea occurs to me.  I'd like to know
    if anyone thinks it is worthwhile.  Hows about we put on a commusic
    concert (with only Digital performers or groups with at least one
    Digital member) with the proceeds donated to a worthy cause.  All
    kinds of music welcome as well as solos or groups.

	Well, not to be a wet blanket, but we (the general DEC music community) have done this 4 or 5 times already, each time with diminishing attendance and interest. I think it's worthwhile, but would be surprised if you could get enough interest to make it happen.... Edd

	It might be interesting to do something with the emphasis on "computer" music (whatever that is? rathole alert). Maybe include a grand finale with a collaborative sequenced effort (whatever happened to that project to sequence an orchestral work?). If you're talking about the Boston area, there are some organizations that might be interested in helping with production/promotion (Mass College of Art, NEWCOMP). I doubt if there'd be much in the way of proceeds to be donated, but it's a nice thought. Rob
