    I'm asking this question for a friend, so please bear with my 
    ignorance.... he's looking for a software package to run on a
    PC that will produce a printable score and individual parts.  He 
    does not have access to a postscript printer.  I don't know the 
    price range that he is interested in, but I'm pretty sure that 
    it's not the "high end".
    
    I looked through some of the entries in this conference and saw
    a lot of talk about C-Lab Notator -- is this something that might
    fit his needs?

    Cathy, it would help if you told us what kind of computer we're talking
    about, and what the fellow intends to use the scores for.  It would
    also help if you knew about how much he was looking to spend. 

    Notator (from CLab) currently exists only for the Atari ST.

I heard a rumor like that but then I heard somebody say not.

Atari only from what I know.
