Does anybody know what company makes the legendary $50m MIDI interface
for the C-64? I remember reading about one in this notefile, probably
in one of the MIDI discussions.
I cannot find one.
not passprt ($129)
not hybrid arts ($199)
not syntec ($199)
not wersi ($199)
I believe the $50 price tag was one of the great benifits of MIDI????
so where is it?

If you are interested I have a C64 and can get you construction
information plus sample software for a MIDI interface. The basic
on the C64 is to slow to do much of any use, but will at least allow
you to begin to learn what is happening out there on the MIDI
interface. To get real time capabilities you have to program the
C64 in machine language.
There is a glitch also on the C64 when using the C64 basic and some
MIDI interfaces which gives you unpredictable results. I blew a
lot of time and money to realize it.

I'm not sure of the exact price, but I believe Dr. T's makes an
inexpensive MIDI interface for the C-64 . The company is located
in Waltham MA and most of the larger music stores in Boston carry
some of their software.
