Has anyone seen a demo of the Sequential Circuits Prophet 2000 sampling keyboard
yet?  It has been announced but won't start shipping until next week according
to the folks at E.U.W. in Worcester.  According to the keyboard guy at the
store, it makes the Mirage and the Akai look pretty poor.  Apparently Wurlitzer
in Boston had a factory rep from Sequential in for a demo session just after
it was announced.

I will post a review after I get a demo (hopefully soon).

	Karl, I do have a subscription. Seems like the people with subscriptions are getting the magazine after the stores. The same thing seems to happen with my subscription to Recording Engineer/Producer. They are bimonthly and I never seem to get mine until the end of the next month. Oh well... Derek

	It makes economic sense for the magazines to ship to stores first. The longer an issue is displayed at a store the more likely somebody will buy it. With a subscription, you have already bought it, even if it is fairly late. John Sauter

	Just an update for those of you waiting wiith baited breath... I called Wurlitzer's n Worcester again yesterday and their Prophet 2000 hasn't arrived yet, but apparently the main store in Boston has one. If anyone heads up there before I do, how about a review? This industry is worse than ours..... Derek
