| | One of my favourite restaurant in Toronto is Honest Ed's Italian
Restaurant. I think that its on King street.

I always enjoy a visit to Second City on Lombard Street. You can
enjoy a dinner/show for about $30 per person. The show usually ends
at about 11:00. Reserve early for this (a few days ahead on weekends).

    Bernie.

| | I hope you enjoyed your visit to the big stink (as it is fondly known in
    Hamilton).

| 904.5 | great time, great restaurants | MEMIT::MARCO |  | Thu Mar 16 1995 10:49 | 13 |
| | We had a great time. Went to the zoo along with every child within a 50 mile
radius of Toronto on Sunday--temps up to 65 F. Found a great restaurant near
downtown called Bellini's. Northern Italian cooking, some of the best I have
ever had, wonderful service, nice, intimate, atmosphere. It is at 101 Yorkville
in sort of an interesting funky, trying to be upscale shopping area. Also went
to the Pine Apple Inn in Unionville which was pretty good. The town seems to
have done a good job at maintaining and restoring the historic look and feel of
the place.
Looking forward to golfing in May though. I understand the Canadian open is
held at a very good course just on the outskirts of Toronto.
Thanks for the interest.

| | Glen Abbey is an Arnold Palmer designed course. I understand that they
have had problems for the past couple years maintaining PGA quality
turf due to a grass disease of some sort but that may be fixed. I'm no
golfer but my father in law is, he doesn't think much of it. He prefers
Lions Head or St. Georges (??).

Also consider making the trip around the lake to do Whirlpool Rapids
although I understand it can be tough to get tee times as it is overrun
    with Japanese tourists.

| | There's a really nice golf course just north of Toronto called
Westview, in Aurora. 27 holes. Very nice. I highly recommend it.
