Hi,
My Mom has two portriats of my grandparents her parents done by Sherman
Hines. One of the portriats is starting to turn a really neat shade of
purple. They were taken in the late 60's and I though I might try and
have it replaced for her birthday. I know Sherman Hines lived and worked
mainly in Nova Scotia. It's been more than 20 years since I lived in
Halifax so I have lost contact with everyone I used to know there.
Can anyone help me find the address and phone number for Sherman
Hines?

Thanks for the number!
As it turns out when I called I talked directly with Sherman Hines, he
just got back from Africa yesterday. He's been out of the portrait
business for quite sometime. He just happen to have his proof catalog
handy and was able to find the proofs. I spent about 30 minutes
talking to him out the books he has done on Nova Scotia. What a great
day! Thanks again,
