Judging from some of the responces I've read in this conference, I'm almost
afraid to enter this note. I've been through the whole conference and
haven't found what I'm looking for, therefore I'm left with entering
this note. My family will be visiting the Toronto area during our
February school vacation. We plan on doing some skiing, but not seven
days of it. I'm looking for interesting things to keep our 10 and 11
year old busy.
This is the question I have, and I am very serious. Seems to me at one
time or other, watching TV with the kids there was an advertisement on
one of the kids TV stations that referred to an indoor waterpark filled
with water slides etc. Was I dreaming or is there such a thing in the
Toronto area. Memory says Toronto??
If this could be seriously answered or other interesting suggestions
made for the dates February 14 - 20th I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
Cyndie

Dunno, but I think the biggest indoor water plagound is in the
West Edmonton Mall, in Alberta. If you want to shop till you drop,
stay in a fantasy hotel and have the kids swim in a wave pool,
this is the place to do it.

There is "Wild Water Kingdom in Toronto", which is Canada's largest
OUTDOOR water slide park. I don't know of any indoor ones.

Last time I've been to it, Montreal's La Ronde water slide park claimed to be the largest in the World. I think they have about 26 slides. I guest that's not true anymore? /Mario | |||||

don't know about any indoor water park thingies, but if you want to
keep your kids 'stimulated' the best place to go is the Ontario Science
Centre at Eglinton and Don mills road. Tons of HANDS-ON experiments
and gadgets for them (and you) to play on.
Note that there isn't any downhill skiing within the city limits. That
sort of fun would require a 1-2 hour drive outside the city.
