Only if the grand Canal itself is kiboshed ... and since I haven't
heard either way yet then carry on ...

:-) Does this imply you don't think I have a sense of humour ?
Seriously though, as a noter and not a moderator, I would prefer
that the Grand Canal fun was clearly identified as fun so that the
many passing through readers that visit here aren't confused.

| Well, I passed onto Stuart the rules of the conference which are:
1) uh..... couldn't think of any.
I mean, like, I always had to use HELP whenevr any moderator dude stuff
was called for. After 3 tries to do what I wanted, if I hadn't figured
out how to do it - to hell with it - prolly wasn't important enough
anyway 8^). I guess that's about the only sort of rule. 8^)

| For those who are wondering (all 1 of you) I handed over moderatorship
of this notesfile because I'm leaving Digital. I gave my notice today,
and the effective date is Oct. 7.

| I am looking for someone to share moderatorial duties of this
conference ...
There are a number of reasons ... some personal, some business, and
just because more than 1 moderator for a conference is actually a
good idea.
Note that in chosing another moderator, I expect that the person is
willing to moderate according to the existing rules of the conference.

Norm Soley (TROOA::SOLEY) has volunteered to work with me on
keeping us all in check ... yeah even I, the wet blanket, write
things I have to retract from time to time.

| Now, for all those who were wondering all those months ago, why I was
looking for a second moderator ...
I am transferring to the CSC in Colorado Springs effective with the
New Year. I am planning to remain a moderator of this conference ...
but I was not totally comfortable at the idea of not having a moderator
actually "resident" in Canada and that has now been dealt with.
