| | Looking for general info. for the Mt. Orford area. Taking the family
and skiing for the week of 2/16. What's there to do in the
    general area? Attractions, nightlife, etc.

|  | The Town of Magog seems to have a good number of interesting restaurants;
we enjoyed the one in the hotel overlooking the lake, just west of the
center of town.
Sherbrooke is the larger nearby town, but Magog seemed more interesting.

	Magog, my Dad's home town!
Sherbrooke is a big town and feels like one, where Magog is
smaller in comparision, caters to the tourist and has a better
	'feel' to it.

How would you categorize this 'feel'. Something like what one
feels between his/her fingers after handling a ripe old fish, or
maybe like what one feels after seeing Field of Dreams?

Actually, more like the feeling after fondling a $6000 tube
	amplifier.
If ya know what I mean...

| | Well, we're back from Magog/Orford and had a great time!
The skiing at Orford was great -- no double-diamonds for
the diehards, but enough interesting diamonds for
the occasional skiiers we have become.
The town was fun, with lots of restaurants and boutiques. We
stayed at O'Berge du Village about 3 blocks from Rue
Principal(e?) and enjoyed walking the main drag in the
	evenings.
The lights around the lake were gorgeous. Be nice to see
	it in the summer too.
