    I am planning to visit a few friends in Toronto in mid/late Sept.
    I am trying to make motel reservations in the area, preferrably
    near Scarbrough/Agincourt area.  Are there any "Motel 6" type of
    rooms available in the area (i.e. low cost, clean room with a
    shower, nothing fancy, etc.)?  What are the going rates for a 
    room like that these days in the Toronto area?  
    
    I looked at the AAA tour book but all of the m/hotels that are
    listed start at around $100/day.  A couple of them are in the
    $45-50 range but they are around the airport area.  
    
    I'm looking for something even more economical (ie. cheaper!)
    and around Scarbrough/Agincourt.  Is it possible?

	A great deal I got was at the Ryerson Polytechnic Institute dorm rooms. They rent out rooms when classes aren't in session for about $25 a nite. You get towels, your own bath, and access to the TV lounge. I don't know if classes will be in session when you're there, though. You might want to call. The last time I did this was in August/September of '85. Good luck! Ashley
