A customer has asked a question which I am bound to pass on to you concerning the PAS$RTL on AXP. He wants to be able to INSTALL/RESIDENT to attempt to improve performance. Is he asking the impossible? Is he asking for something which is silly? Would anyone be willing to produce one which could be installed /resident if he asked nicely (and paid cash)? VMS Version is 6.2 which he is using at present, I suppose he would be in the market for upgrades in the future. Neil

| It isn't impossible, but to be able to INSTALL/RESIDENT the Pascal
RTL, I would need to link it differently during the OpenVMS build
process. Right now, only certain RTLs are linked so they can
    be installed /RESIDENT.

In what way do they think this will improve performance? Page faulting
in the RTL? Time spent resolving the linkage section addresses?
