|     Now a new symptom...
    
    I'm using the MCI remote dtn access (950-1022) to call Reading.
    
    For some reason today, every time I place a call, I get a recorded
    message (with a British accent) that the number I dialed is incorrect.
    
    If I then hit # (to place another call) and re-dial the SAME number,
    it goes through...
    
    (On the other side of the coin, I noticed that so far today, the 
    line quality for my successful calls has been acceptable. Hurray!)
