9900.0. "Can't Telnet Into A Cray Series" by MSAM00::FOOSZEMUN () Wed May 21 1997 04:34
Hi,
My customer is running a Digital Unix 3.2c & the system is
connected to a Cray's Series 8000-8325 (for X.25 connection). The
problem is they can ping the Cray but can't telnet into it. It just
hang at the message "Escape Character `[". But when they telnet into
their Encore server, then they are able to telnet into the Cray box. I
checked the daemon.log and it shown "connection reset by peer".
They told me that their supplier have configure the Cray for our
system to telnet in. Any idea?
Thanks,
SMF
