I am trying to build GNU emacs version 19.34 on Digital Unix system (version 4.0b).
My problem is that I cannot get the configure utility ( which builds the various
make files etc) to include X in the configuration. It obvioulsy cannot find the
files it is looking to determine that X exists on the system. I tried forcing
this by setting switches on the configure command but that makes no difference.
Has anybody else seen this ? Is there a solution/workround ?
