    Hi, A user is developing the TCP/IP application under the DIGITAL UNIX
    environment. When he send a tcp/ip package from the local(A) to another
    host(B), he get the package length. He would like to know if the
    package length is return by the host(B) or is created by the local(A)
    UNIX OS.

	If you mean the return value of the send or sendto calls, the value is determined locally. Mike
