    Hi.
I recently installed Digital UNIX V4.0B in a customer and when I
was trying to install de Digital PSE I got the message that the subset
OSFRTDEV* was not installed, so the installation droped. I went to
UNIX CD, and I found that this subset is not discribed into this version.
I saw that this subset is listed in Table D-10 of installation guide.

What is missing here ? How can I solve that ?
Of course this subset exist in Digital UNIX V4.0A.

    		Any suggestion ?

    		Thanks, Joaquim.

    Hi, Joaquim.

The OSFRTDEVxxx has indeed been removed from the CD-ROM's. The
library librt.so is now in the OSFBASE subset. If you create a
file called /usr/.smdb./OSFRTDEV.lk you should be able to "fool"
the PSE installation into thinking it's installed. I would also
file a QAR/Bug report against the PSE product.
