    In our area, we get a 2GB memory 8200 to run oracle application.
    For this is the first large memory machine we meet, Can any guru
    give us a advice to tuning the system para to replace default
    value.

|     I think Oracle provide some tuning recommendations for their own
    products.  Start there and see how the system performs.  Then fine-tune
    it if that's still necessary.
