9565.0. "ADVFS quota problem: chfsets command" by DEKVC::HUNJAELEE () Mon Apr 21 1997 08:30
    <DU 4.0b>
    I used the command "chfsets" to limit fileset space usuage, because one
    file domain had 4 filesets. But it seemed not to run. I did like this.

    #chfsets -f 100 -b 1000 D_domain D_fset1
    D_fset1
           ID			: 33277f67.000922e7.6.8001
    	   File H Limit		: 0 --> 100
    	   Block H Limit	: 0 --> 1000

    After that, I was to make more larger file than the Block Limit size
    (1000K). It was created. And the results were following.

    #showfsets D_domain D_fset1
    	.
    	.
    	.
    		Blocks (512) : 3424, Slim=0, HLim=2000
    		Quota Status : user=off group=off

    After all, File set quota didn't work.

    Kernel option (option QUOTA), fstab ( D_domain#D_fset1 /D_fset1 advfs
    rq 0 0) was confirmed.

    Thanks in advanced any reply,

| | Superuser could do everything. Common user did not use more than that
    quota.

| | AdvFS fileset quotas are not enforced against superuser.
If you feel they should be, please either file a QAR/IPMT, or raise the issue
with Product Management.
