    Hi, Scott.

Either one will work. What the manual fails to mention in the
first case is you have to place that in the generic subsystem.

    generic:
    	rt-preempt-opt = 1

And just reboot. Check it with sysconfig -q generic. The other
method will work too but with it you have to go through the extra
    trouble of rebuilding the kernel.

    I prefer the sysconfigtab method...

    Hth,

| | What's confusing here is that /etc/sysconfigtab is not what's
traditionally considered the "configuration file." That's
usually considered to be the /usr/sys/conf/SYSTEM-NAME file.
Which is where you would put the RT_PREEMPT_OPT option, BTW.

| | So there's two errors here:
1) The Inst Guide doesn't mention the 'generic:' section
2) It tells you to put it in the /usr/sys/conf/NAME file, when it should
      be in /etc/sysconfigtab
Should I QAR this or is it known about already?
Thanks,
Scott
