    		Hi people:

I have a problem with joind.
Operating System has been updated from 3.2c to 4.0b.
Joind isn't started giving the following message in the
                daemon.log and /var/join/log:

unix joind[14486]: DB is not writable: locked by another process

unix joind[14486]: JOIN server shutdown on Tuesday April 08 10:54

    unix inetd[487]: /usr/sbin/joind: exit status 0xfffff300

Daemon is not started. The /etc/rc.config line bootps is the following:

bootps dgram udp wait root /usr/sbin/joind joind

    Directory /var/join :

All dbs permisions 644 root system

Exists the file rwlock with 0 bytes

    /etc/rc.config:

    JOIND="yes"

    Any idea?

    Thanks in advanced

    Francesc

You should remove : /var/join/rwlock and/or start joind manualy
    	with : joind -d4 -f to see what's happens..

    Manuel.
