9408.0. "Another "date" problem for 5/17/97?" by NYOSS1::CHEN () Mon Apr 07 1997 09:53

    Recently there were news about "date" problem for May 17, 1997. Does
    anyone know what it is? Does it happen to all Digital UNIX or just
    for a  particular version? What will happen on May 17, 1997 if it is 
    not fixed?

	There is an issue on OpenVMS on 19 May 1997 (the date which is 10,000 days after the Unix epoch), but I'm not aware of any issues on Unix. Webb
