Hi,
Can we do Alphanumeric Paging from Digital Unix? If so what are the
config details , like /etc/uucp/Systems file entry while using cu to
initiate the page?
Thanks

My customer uses a product caled Telalert for paging. Sorry I am not at
the customer site now to get a full company name.
I have also seen kermit scripts to do paging. I played with some perl
scripts but never got all the modem stuff right.

We send the paging messages via Internet or X.400. There's also C source for paging written by Petri Sonkeri, but I'm not sure if I still have the copy...I'll be back if I find the source. | |||||
