When you run nfs from CDE it asks you about the property list.
    Can someone please explain it.

    Thanks.

| One can add "properties" to files in the newer release of D-UNIX.
The most commonly used property is an ACL. The proplistd daemon
allows D-UNIX systems to exchange the ACLs associated with NFS-
mounted files. There was some conversation about syncing with
Sun's implementation of ACLs-on-NFS, but I don't know how that
concluded.
My knowledge is theoretical ("scanty"), so I can't offer any
specifics ;-)
