8905.0. "System halted during a vdump" by VAXRIO::MIRIAM (Unix Group - CSC/Brazil) Thu Feb 20 1997 08:24

    During a vdump operation the system is halted. I couldn't find any
    error logged in uerf. The environment is:
       System:  Alphaserver 4100 5/400
                Firmware rev. 2.0
                Digital UNIX 4.0A

       Tape:    TLZ09   - rev 0165

     Halting message:
        halted cpu 0
        halt code=2
        kernel stack not valid - halt
        warning HWRPB is invalid

     Does anyone have ever seen this? Is it a HW problem?

     Thanks in advance,

         Miriam
