Hello!
I have a Trucluster enviorment(Digital UNIX 4.0a,Trucluster 1.4). I try
to failover a application like xclock. but there have some wrong messge
in the console:
/usr/bin/X11/xhost: unable to open display ""
xlib: connection ro "ase1.bej.dec.com:0.0" refuse by server
xlib: client is not authorized to connect to server
Error: can't open display: ase1.bej.dec.com:0.0
The following is my ase service's script:

.
/usr/bin/X11/xhost + 2 >/dev/console
DISPLAY = $HOSTNAME:0.0
export DISPLAY
.
.
/usr/bin/X11/xclock 2 >/dev/console
.
.
and I also try create a file /etc/X0.hosts,but this file can't do
anything.
Pls help me!!!

Hi It sounds like you have an xhost problem on the X client...have your run xhost to see what is enabled on the X client? | |||||

Hi:
When I issue "xhost" manually in terminal , everything is ok. but put
this command to ase's script file, xhost can't work.
