| 8560.1 | check DDR database | SMURF::SMART | Fri Jan 31 1997 12:58 | 9 | |
| The v4 tape driver did change - to inherit the tape density values from
    /etc/ddr.dbase rather than /sys/data/cam_data.c. The error you
    indicated says that the ddr database did not contain a set of density
    sections for your device. Take a look at the man pages for ddr.dbase
    and ddr_config. You should be able to easily add an element for your
    tape device

| 8560.2 | firmware | KYOSS1::GREEN | Mon Mar 10 1997 11:24 | 4 | |
| Also, don't overlook the possibilty that you need a newer version
    of console firmware. I had a problem with tlz06, and the fiz was to
    upgrade the firmware, and then density was OK.
