Configuration : VMS6.1; ALL-IN-1 v3.1; UCX V4.0; TEAMLINK v2.5
For some reason and for sometimes I have the AIDA$SERVER process
who is using 100% of the CPU.
Teamlink client cannot use the application. To restart Teamlink I
have to stop the process and restart the AIDA$SERVER.
I have only 25PCs using Teamlink.
Any idea what is happening. Do I have some ressource problem ? If yes
where to have a look.
Thanks in advance for your support.
Regards, Thierry

Thierry,
Are there any patches installed ?
If not, then install ICF 38 which is the latest set of AIDA fixes. This
also introduces the capability of monitoring the AIDA server, so it
actively warns you if a process quota is almost exhausted.
Also, VAXSHAD12_061 and AXPSHAD12_061 are a couple of VMS patches that
could well resolve your server problem, I think they're discussed
elsewhere in this conference.
You might also want to consider upgrading your FCS too a more later
version, which can be achieved by installing ICF 46.
Hope this helps,
Kevin.

Kevin,
Thanks for your prompt answer.
I have installed the patchs today and I got no more problems. It seems
ok now.
My last problem, I have three PC connected over a dedicated line
(19.2KBS) and they can use Teamlink without Probleme except as they
start to copy file (upto 200k) they have:
"the file cabinet is not running or there is a network connect error"
When they have this error the line is not going down.
If you have any suggesttion please advise.
Thanks, Thierry
