| 2548.1 | USe a patch - it's safer | IOSG::PYE | Graham - ALL-IN-1 Sorcerer's Apprentice | Mon Mar 03 1997 09:08 | 18 |
| | <<<< The lci$lexicons directory is where the spell check files are
    <<<< located.

    Actually it isn't, LCI$LEXICONS just holds the dictionaries.

    <<<< If I copied the files would that correct the problem for ALL-IN-1
    <<<< V3.1.

    Hence, no.

    I believe there was a V3.1 patch for this, which would be a much safer
    plan than attempting to move bits of V3.2 to V3.1, which is unlikely to
    work unless you know what you are doing.

    PS Please spell ALL-IN-1 correctly, as requested in this conference's
    title. I have changed your base note, but next time I'll delete it!

|  |     Thanks Graham,

    If there is a patch I am not aware of it. What is the patch or eco
    number.

|  |     I don't do patches, I only (think I :-) ) remember them...

    You could look in note 15.* here, but the only obvious candidate is
    ICF36, which doesn't look like the problem. Otherwise, did you check
    STARS and COMET?

|  |     Hi

    I found that there was a code change to Allin1 v3.2 to fix the problem.
    The customker states he can not upgrade and wanted the code or scripts
    changes that went into Allin1 v3.2 for Allin1 v3.1

    Thanks

| 2548.5 | If it's a code fix, then you'll need a patch! | IOSG::PYE | Graham - ALL-IN-1 Sorcerer's Apprentice | Wed Apr 02 1997 14:09 | 12 |
|  |     <<<< I found that there was a code change to ALL-IN-1 v3.2 to fix the
    <<<< problem.

    Where did you find this? What did it say the fix was? If the change is
    to code, then the only way you can get the fix is if there is a patch,
    and you appear to have discovered there isn't. The customer would need
    to formally elevate this problem to get a fix.

    Graham

    PS Please spell ALL-IN-1 correctly, since I'm getting bored with
    editing your notes to fix the spelling. Soon I'll just delete them....
