Hi,
I have a customer running ALL-IN-1 V3.1 on Alphas using Remote
Message Router. This customer just moved from ALL-IN-1 V3.0A (VAX) to
ALL-IN-1 V3.1 (Alpha) . Both versions are ALL-IN-1 Brazilian.
They are complaining that the read and delivery receipts returned
from these Alphas using Remote Message Router to the other VAxes still
running ALL-IN-1 V3.0A, are in English. And the ALL-IN-1 is Brazilian so
that the receipts should be in portuguese.
Another curious thing is that if I send a mail from one Alpha to
another one, both using Remote Message Router (in different vaxes) and
with ALL-IN-1 version 3.1 , the receipts are in Portuguese.
Any ideas why these receipts ar being sent in English ? Any way to
correct this ?
Thanks .. Marcia

Hi Marcia, Although ALL-IN-1 V3.1 generates delivery and read recipts in language-independent forms, these have to be converted into text by Message Router at the V3.0A systems. This conversion can only be done in English. So users on a V3.0A system will only see English reports from a V3.1 (or later) system. I believe the reports generated by V3.0A systems will be in Portuguese as these are text messages, made from translated text - so the only problem is V3.1 systems sending reports and receipts to V3.0A systems. All will be fixed when they upgrade the rest of their systems to V3.1 - or later. grahame | |||||
