    I occasionally get asked to help troubleshoot problems that customers
    are having using DEC C++. Generally it is a question of rtfm,
    specifically the "Using DEC C++ ..." documents, which, IMHO, are excellent. 
    
    I am making the reports of such visits available, in the hope that they
    may be of interest to others. 
    
    They cover issues such 32 bit/64 bit issues (taso), Compiler
    performance, templates, globals initialisation ...
