A customer is considering the use of C++ on Digital UNIX and has asked for a list of appropriate Digital SW Development Tools to complement the complete development process - Development, Debugging, Maintenance, etc. He will be working within an X Windows environment. I would appreciate such a list of recommended Tools as well as any 3rd Party Development Environments which you would consider appropriate. [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

See http://www-unix.zk3.dec.com/www/products.html
There is also a search utility (accessible outside the firewall, I believe) at
http://www.unix.digital.com/catalog/index.html
Some of the things that a developer might be interested in are ATOM, FUSE,
Porting Assistant and Ladebug; which are all available (I believe) in the
standard release of Digital UNIX V4.0 and later.
