| | I don't think you're a looney! Sounds like you have powers that
are hard to predict or control (and I'm slightly envious). Don't
give up on us; this conference isn't a high-speed "soapbox" type,
at least not in my experience.

    Chris,

You can project onto all of us that we think you're looney, but I
looked at the one reply you got and didn't see evidence of that.
You can interpret the lack of responses that way, or you might also
realize that there aren't many of us here anymore, it's summer
vacation, and that it could be that the people who are quietly
reading just haven't had your experience, so they chose not to reply.

I'm still not exactly sure how you jumped to the conclusion that everyone
thinks you're a looney, but if you read through the conference you will
find plenty of others who have had similar experiences, and since I
know them or have known them personally (those who have left), I can
assure you that they would not think such a thing of you.

    Chris,

Oh, and by the way, what you described in .0 happens to me so often
that I just consider it to be a normal part of my life and don't even
think much of it. If it *didn't* happen, or stopped happening to me,
I'd be concerned. (;^) So, it all depends upon your perspective.

    There's a Gary Larsen cartoon where there's a cow on a psychiatrist's
couch, and suddenly the cow says, "Y'know, maybe it's the *rest* of the
    herd that's crazy!" (;^)

| | Hi Chris,

A similar type of thing happens with me sometimes. I am in a
conversation with someone and suddenly I hear what they are going to
say a couple of seconds before they actually say it. It's like there's
some sort of time delay between the person thinking about saying it and
physically saying it. It's kinda hard to explain, but I suppose you
could relate it to a form of premonition. Either that or I'm a mind
    reader 8-).

Seriously though, it feels like I've already had the conversation and
then rewound if you like and played it back in normal time. Does this
    make sense to you?

You seem a bit worried about this talent you have, but I would say that
there ain't really any cause for concern. These things probably happen
to most people, the difference is we are more aware and tuned in to
    what is happening.

    Don't worry.

I'm no expert on these matters, these are just my humble oppinions.

    Gavin

| | Sorry people, Sort of gave all of you the wrong impression,
I didn't really think all of you thought I was looney. I know
there is another conference on this in here but is this (you guys call
it powers) what the Celestine Prophecy is about? I am waiting
for a friend to finish reading it.

I have the same occurances when driving. I wear dark
