    Hello,
    
    I was wondering who might have caught the show on Crop Circles last
    night on the Discovery Channel? I found it to be very biased and one
    sided, almost a tribute to the original hoaxsters Doug and Dave. 
    What I was hoping to see was more info on some of the effects the grain
    has in true circles:
    
    - Magnetic properties. .. Holding a magnet by the grain and its
    attracted to it. I've seen this on another show. Hoaxed ones don't have
    that quality.
    
    - Nodes formed where the stalk is bent allowing the crop to continue
    growth. In hoaxed ones they are crushed, flattened or noticeably mamed.
    
    - Also there was a recent elaborate pattern that had some strange
    metalic disks in the center with the same pattern. These disks were
    made of a pure nickle I believe from a process not copied for over
    several hundred years. Seems to me to be a little too pricey for a
    hoax.
    
    Anyways I was just wondering if anybody caught the show and shared
    similar feelings.

	George, I did not see the show last night, but over the weekend I heard advertisements for it, which said something about the secrets of the crop circles being discovered during the night, or before daylight, or something like that. The advertisement was so biased that I didn't even bother to tune into the show.

	I also saw it, and felt the same way. They were very eager to prove their two hoaxters demonstrated exactly how they were made. It was not subjective in the least.

	From what I've heard, the footage in that show was from 1991. Doug and Dave, (if those are the two who were on the show) have admitted in the past they did not make a number of the formations.

	Within the last week or 2 there has been a crop circle show up in Nebraska. Does anyone remember where this is? I'll be traveling through the midwest and thought I would try to see it. Thank you, Thom

	Do you think that the aliens, who obviously make the crop circles, can intercept and understand our TV programs? Since these circles came so close after the broadcast. Jamie.

	Jamie, I think the aliens are smarter than that. They don't watch television knowing that it is full of puerile american sitcoms and besides they don't want to become irradiated. It ruins the way they digest human blood products. graham...

	Crop circles along with other unexplained phenomenon are discssed on the ART Bell show which can be heard on the radio on AM 1100 out of Cleveland at 2:00 AM. Well worth taping or listening to.
