    Rather than start a new note for this, has anybody heard of, or does
    anybody have (he says hopefully) a copy of a book by Francis King
    called 'The Spear and the Swastika'. It's about the Heilike Lance that
    was supposed to have pierced Jesus' side while on the cross, and the
    Nazis beliefs in it, and their attempts to get it.
    
    I have tried libraries, book stores, etc, to no avail. I would be most
    grateful if anyone knows about it.

    I can't help you with that title, but Ravenscroft's _Spear of Destiny_,
    which is available at many specialty stores covers the same subject.  A
    reasonable read, FWIW.
