| | I have been studying the Kabala for several years, mainly as it applies
to the Tarot. I have found it to be a fascinating subject. I would
very much like to be able to talk to someone with a similar interest
Look forward to conversing with you.

| | Ron,

Where have you been studying the Kabala? In other words, are
you getting instructions from someone and if so, what area do
    you live in.

A friend of mine lives in Atlanta and took some Kabala studies
from a well known teacher. I'd like to expore this area a bit
    myself.

| | There are a few categories of Kabbalistic study, one being the
ancient Hebrew tradition derived from Throne Mysticism and such,
and others (like the 'Hermetic') which are much more recent
and are sometimes related to Tarot, Astrological symbolism, and
so on. There was or is also a tradition that used the Kabballah
to attempt to prove that Christ was the Messiah.

It's a very broad and fasinating area of study, imo.

| | Joanne,

I was fortunate enough to meet a ceremonial magician in 1986, at that
time I was reading the Runes. He started my interest in the Kabala
and the Tarot. He moved shortly thereafter and I continued studying
on my own. I would much rather have a teacher, but with a little
diligence you can learn a whole lot on your own. Even tho I have
a keen interest in the Tarot, I am geared much more towards Paganism.
Contrary to popular belief, Wicca and the study of the Kabala can
    complement each other very well.

    Keep in touch

    Ron
