I recently received VAXmail about this workshop through some
distribution list I must be on, or maybe from somebody directly. I
deleted it without even bothering to read it, because the subject line
of the mail was something like "Protection and Grounding". Being a
hardware engineer and an amateur electrician, I know the issues of
grounding and the electrical codes pretty well, and figured that while
the workshop might be interesting, I don't really have enough free
time to go to something which would probably be mostly review. Imagine
my surprise and amusement to see the full text of the invitation here,
and realize that the intended audience isn't restricted to engineers
and electricians.
My apologies to whoever was kind enough to forward the invitation to
me.
Now if I could just figure out how to contact the vital power of my
circuit breaker panel through plugs, sockets and wires ... :-)
