Does anyone know of any "New Age" art galleries (anywhere in the
US)? I had heard that there is suppose to be one in New York
City, and I've always wanted to check it out, but can't find it.
Thanks,
Linda

re: .0
Well, I've mentioned this before a few times but since this
topic is specifically for this purpose, I'll repeat myself here.
ISIS RISING is such a visionary arts gallery. There is one in
Beverly Hills, Ca. (at #1 Rodeo Drive) which has been open more
than a year and also another Isis in Ft. Lauderdale (I don't have
an address handy.) There was one in Corte Madera, Ca. until last
week (which had formerly been in Larkspur Landing and in Mill Valley
prior to that known as Illuminarium and Merlin's, respectively.)
They have been highly successful and reasonably well known (mentioned
indirectly by Shirley MacClaine in her "Out on A Limb" movie, for
one.) They have lots of beautiful glass and bronze and canvases,
along with unique uses of crystals, wood, etc. Gilbert Williams,
Gage Taylor, etc. all have their work carried by Isis. Anyway,
though that isn't close to you, if you should ever be in Ft. Lauderdale
or Beverly Hills, you may wish to give them a look-see.

The one in Ft.Lauderdale is positively beautiful! My friend and
I were in the Galleria (the mall) just 3 days after it had opened.
There is this georgeous green/cloud perfume bottle for $125.00.....
(;^)
